Success story of almost every inspirational startup founder and entrepreneur is followed by a number of failed attempts and bad experiences. You meet all kind of people, some are nasty, some are nice, some make fun of your ideas, other may encourage you, some pretend to be your friend but take credit of your work. It is not as simple and straight as it appears. But what made these entrepreneurs and startup businesses stand out is their self-belief and “never ever give up” attitude. Often people relate success with luck, which to some extent doesn’t even make much difference. All it requires to be successful is a splendid idea, competent team, spirit to follow your dreams and most importantly patience. Everyone has a dream and desire to be their own boss. The idea is inspiring but it needs you to accept and face a lot of ground realities. But your ultimate desire should be to get what you want.

“If you don’t build your own dream someone else will hire you to build theirs.” –Tony Gaskins Jr.

• Analyze Practicality

You need a groundbreaking as well as practically implementable idea. If your idea is innovative but not implementable, it is not probably the best idea to follow.

• Plan your Finances

I know it’s hard but you need to. Many experts say that if you want to be successful you just can’t keep profit of starting 0-to-2years in your pocket. You have to pay salaries of people working to make your dream come true and bear all financial burdens of your own or present your idea in an innovative way to catch sponsors.

• Say NO to Discouraging Thoughts

Things don’t go your way or often not on time, it happens. But you will find a way soon, just hang in there and don’t give up.

• You may Hire the wrong one

Company’s success is dependent on the progress and efforts of its employees. You may have hired the misfit, and now you curse the moment you hired him/her. It’s alright, give them a chance and provide them some training, if they are serious and eager to learn else look for another guy and trust me this time you will find a better one.

• Be Responsible

Remember what Uncle Ben has advised Peter Parker, “With great power comes great responsibility”.  You own a company but still you have a job role in your company, follow that. If you start interfering or start getting personal with other job positions, things will go against you.
